One Real Estate Niche Actually Growing

Most of the real estate industry has been suffering from poor sales and a disheartened base. However, there's a niche in the industry that is doing well. Biomed Realty Trust filed 2nd quarter financial reports which showed their company is improving compared to one year ago. Company earnings increase by nearly 10%.
Apparently the life science industry's demand for real estate is still strong. According to the company's website they "focus primarily on biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, scientific research institutions and government agencies. Their buildings are located primarily in the major U.S. life science markets of Boston, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Maryland, Pennsylvania and New York/New Jersey.
